April Favourites

Hello and welcome back!
I thought i would kick off this blog with my April favourites. I've loved a variety of products over the past month so i'm just going to mix it all into one big post!

urban decay naked 3 palette

For my birthday this April, i chose to burn a hole in my pocket and go  all out treating myself to the Naked3 Palette by Urban Decay. For me, choosing out of the Naked palettes range was extremely difficult as i am more a brown smokey eye person, so was originally edging towards the 1 or 2 palette. However swaying from my norm, i discovered that this palette is absolutely beautiful. The set features mostly shimmers, however ranges in beautiful copper tones throughout. The result of this palette is sparkly and a velvety smooth texture that blends like a dream. They blend nicely together, maybe a bit too well but overall can give a lovely subtle appearance or dramatic smokey appearance. The packaging instantly got me excited before even opening the palette. Included in the palette is a dual ended eye shadow/ blending brush, a large mirror and Eyeshadow Primer Potion sampler.

Urban Decay flushed palette- Streak
Along with my Naked 3 palette i had to go that bit further and get a "contour" kit. This palette features a full size bronzer, highlighter and blush. The texture is very lightweight on the face and is very pigmented which blends beautifully across the face. You can use these separately or blend together for a more all over glow. The highlighter i find stunning, as it really catches the light and makes my skin look very healthy and vibrant.

Rimmel wake me up foundation- ivory
This foundation has got to be one of my personal favourites. I had this last year but changed once i ran out and changed to the Rimmel Lasting finish. After using that i came to the decision that i needed my wake me up back for winter. This foundation lasts and has a dewy effect on the skin. The overall coverage is pretty decent for me and goes well with bronzers and blushes.

Rimmel wake me up concealer
I swear by this concealer, I've used it ever since it hit my local and haven't changed since. I must admit i would like to branch out to some new concealers but i can't seem to let this little treasure out of my hands. It has a nice finish and together with the wake me up foundation, my face always looks fresh and glowing.

Models prefer skinny eyeliner
Now being known for my notorious eyeliner, i was desperate to find something i could rely on for a perfect winged look. Whilst browsing i stumbled across this cheeky number and have loved it ever since. The pen is a skinny liner ( also comes in a thicker end) so therefor creates neat lines once mastered. I highly recommend this pen to anyone wanting a neat finish to their wings.

Maybelline falsies mascara
Mascara's for me are a difficult choice, as i naturally have fairly long eyelashes. I prefer a fuller lash to create an intense eye and this particular mascara has always seemed to be in my bag and done the trick, so i thought i should rightfully highlight its existence.

Maybelline colour drama lipstick - nude perfection
This is a real recent purchase for me, however i am very impressed so far. I really wanted to find a nude lip that still has some colour in it, and i found this. The pencil glides smoothly across and has a nice velvet finish. What i really love about this also is the fact you can use it as a liner if you prefer.

Real techniques expert face brush
Ive had this brush in my pocket for quite some time and still love it. It easily applies foundation and doesn't leave an uneven finish.

Zoella Creamy madly Dreamy body lotion
 * note i bought this in England* On my travels back home last october, i thought it was only right that i purchase something Zoella. This body lotion is so lovely i have cherished it ever since buying. The fragrance is musky and fresh with floral hints, with the presence of Shea butter it leaves my skin so soft and smooth. LOVE IT!

Tea tree is extremely soothing and can work wonders on troubled or oily skin. This is refreshing and gentle on my skin. It removes excess dirt from my skin and leaves it glowing. This spray is effective for breakouts as it makes sure pores aren't clogged and absorbs moisture well.

Lush cupcake fresh face mask
AKA chocolate heaven, This mask is really a treat. The smell is just terribly delicious, as it features mint and cocoa. I found that its very easy to apply and wash off, it minimises blemishes and is perfect to use before make up application.

Lush black stockings body tint
This little bar is a wonder. It smells lovely, as it has hints of cocoa, cinnamon and Shea butter. It creates a natural glowing tan on the skin and can be used as contour bronze under your cheek bones if u desire.

Lush Hot Toddy body wash & Lush Yog Nog soap bar -
Both were given as a christmas gift and i love the scent of a warm musky cinnamon. The body wash has glitter inside which instantly excites me, and the soap bar just leaves my skin smelling divine and soft.

Clearasil perfectwash
This face wash leaves my skin fresh and clean. It clears blemishes and prevents redness. The scent is also fairly nice on and afterwards.

Fifty shades trilogy
Now, all i can say is wow! i went and saw the movie before reading the books, and didn't think i would have enjoyed it. However after leaving the theatre i couldn't not be tempted to get my eyes on these books. After finishing the third book recently i am craving for the movie to come out. Along with these books though, i am utterly in love with the soundtrack as i literally have it on repeat and go off into Aimee world chilling out. I highly recommend these books if you're interested in romance stories.
